Kiss Beauty Marble Liquid Lip Balm

Kiss Beauty Marble Liquid Lip Balm Description

The Kiss Beauty Marble Liquid Lip Balm (also called “Lip Glow Marble Liquid Lip Balm”) is a tinted, ultra-moisturising lip gloss / balm.

According to GlossyWithPride (a Nigerian retailer), it’s “very moisturizing, long lasting and hydrating.”

It comes in several shades: 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, and 06.

Formula & Texture

Liquid / gloss-like texture, so it feels like a lip gloss but has the hydrating properties of a balm.

Lightweight and not very sticky, based on its “ultra-moisturizing” description.

Because it’s “marble,” the product in the tube likely has a marbled / swirled mix of different pigment “veins.” This gives a subtle, slightly varied tint when applied.

When / How to Use (“Wears”)

Daily Use: Great for everyday wear — when you want some colour but prioritise hydration.

Over Lipstick: Use it on top of a matte or regular lipstick to add shine + moisture.

Touch-Ups: Can be carried in your bag and reapplied through the day to maintain softness + sheen.

Any Season: Works well in dry weather (for moisture) and warm weather (gives glow without being too thick).

Suggestions / Styling Ideas

Pair with a neutral matte lipstick: Apply the marble balm on top to soften the finish and add gloss.

Use it on bare lips: Just apply a thin coat for a natural, hydrated lip look.

Layer lightly: If you want more colour or shine, apply a second, light layer instead of a thick one — this preserves the swirled / marbled effect.

For a plump look: After applying, gently press your lips together; the gloss helps reflect light and gives a fuller natural appearance.

Pros / Advantages

Hydrating: Very moisturizing — helps keep lips soft.

Tinted: Gives a subtle colour without being as intense as a lipstick.

Long-Lasting (for a balm/gloss): Because it’s well-formulated, it doesn’t slide off super fast.

Compact & Practical: The liquid format makes it easy to apply, and it’s good for on-the-go.

Affordable (locally): ~₦2,500 is quite reasonable for a hydrating, coloured lip product in the

Cons / Potential Drawbacks

Not as long-lasting as lipsticks: Since it’s a balm/gloss, you will likely need to reapply during the day, especially after eating or drinking.

Limited Shade Depth: The shades (01–06) may be more on the sheer / light tint side, so if you want deep or bold colour, this may not deliver strong pigment.

Potential Stickiness: Even if described as “ultra-moisturising,” some users might still feel a mild gloss stickiness — depends on personal preference.

No Detailed Ingredient List: I couldn’t find a full INCI (ingredient) breakdown for the Kiss Beauty version, so it’s unclear what all the active emollients or scent components are.

Helpful Tips for Use & Maintenance

Shake Before Use (if applicable)

Because it’s “marble” / swirled, gently swirl or shake the tube (if designed for that) to mix the pigments before applying.

Apply on Clean Lips

For best results, start with clean, dry lips — this ensures better colour payoff and smoother application.

Use a Lip Brush or Direct Wand

You can use the applicator that comes with it (if any) or a small lip brush for more precision, especially around the edges.

Layer Smartly

If you’re layering over lipstick, apply a very light first coat, wait a second, then apply a second coat if needed. This preserves the marbled effect.

Reapply as Needed

Since this is a gloss/balm hybrid, expect to reapply after meals or after a few hours. Carry it in your bag for quick touch-ups.

Store Upright

Store the tube upright (if possible) so the formula stays in the mixing / correct layer and doesn’t leak.

My Verdict

The Kiss Beauty Marble Liquid Lip Balm is a very good choice if you want a lip product that hydrates but still gives a touch of colour and shine.

It’s especially suited for daily wear, casual looks, or when you don’t want to use a full lipstick but want more than just clear balm.

If you want very bold colour or very long-lasting lip colour, you might need to pair it with something more pigmented — but for comfort + glow, it’s solid.
