Tropical Vibe Rayhaan (100ml)

Tropical Vibe Rayhaan (100ml) 1. Description

Tropical Vibe is a unisex Eau de Parfum (EDP) from Rayhaan, in a 100 ml size.

The fragrance is described as “a sun‑soaked escape bottled in a fragrance” which evokes tropical fruits, breezy white florals, and a warm woody‑amber base.

According to listings: “Tropical Vibe opens with mango, pineapple and bergamot; at its heart white florals, sea‑breeze accord, coconut; base of amber, sandalwood, musk, vetiver.”

Launch year: 2025 (per Fragrantica listing).

2. Format

Size: 100 ml (≈ 3.4 oz).

Type: Eau de Parfum (EDP) — higher concentration of fragrance oils compared to eau de toilette, meaning stronger scent and longer wear.

Presentation: Modern bottle, appears with gradient or colourful design (one listing notes orange‑to‑turquoise gradation).

Market: Unisex — suitable for men or women.

3. Sensory Profile & Performance

Fragrance notes:

Top (opening): Mango, Pineapple, Bergamot — juicy tropical fruits + zesty citrus.

Heart (middle): White florals, Sea‑breeze marine accord, Coconut (milk or creamy coconut).

Base (dry‑down): Amber, Sandalwood, Musk, Vetiver — warm, woody and slightly sensual.

Character & vibe:

Overall: Bright, tropical, playful yet with depth from the base woods.

The fruit‑penguin tropical opening transitions into creamy/coconut and ends on a warm woody signature.

Performance: According to user discussions:

“Tropical Vibe is borderline beast mode. Possibly 80% of projection like the Lion. Very good longevity too. Easy 7 hours on clothes.”

But also:
“… in the opening you get hit by that synthetic shampoey smell. … The dry down smells like some generic floral sweet fragrance.”

Considerations for Lagos/humidity climate:

The juicy fruits & coconut will perform well in warm/humid environments—they provide freshness and brightness.

However, tropical/fruity scents can sometimes feel “heavy” or overly sweet in very hot/humid weather if oversprayed.

The base of musk/wood will help the scent last longer (good for warm climate), but be aware that humidity may make projection stronger (which could be good or too strong depending on situation).

4. Wear & Suggestions

When to wear:

Ideal for daytime/outdoor use, especially in warm, sunny settings — it evokes a “tropical vacation” mood.

Also good for casual nights out, beach trips, weekend wear, holiday‑vibe days.

Because of its tropical vibe, may be less suited (or may need lighter use) for formal/business settings unless you prefer noticeable scent.

Who it suits:

Unisex: good for anyone who enjoys fruity, tropical, slightly gourmand + woody finishes.

People living in warm/humid areas (like Lagos) who want a scent that stays lively, cheerful and fresh.

Users who want more than a basic fresh scent — the wood/amber base gives some sophistication.

How to apply / Tips:

Apply 2‑3 sprays on chest, 1 on each shoulder/back of neck; if in very hot weather, you might apply one spray on clothes instead of all on skin (to moderate intensity).

Because the opening is juicy and bright, wait ~5 minutes after application before interacting closely with others (so the loud opening settles a bit).

In humid Lagos evenings: after the initial day wear, you may refresh with one light spray on clothing (not direct skin) to avoid over‑saturation.

If going out at night (AC environments): this scent’s base will help; definitely good for slightly denser environment (even air‑conditioned rooms).

For warmer tropical days: pair with lightweight grooming (e.g., deodorant/body spray) so the fragrance sits nicely.

5. Helpful Tips

Buying & price info (Nigeria):

Listing on Jumia Nigeria: ₦ 38,000 for 100 ml size.

Some listings show variations (sale discounts) depending on seller.

When buying: ensure correct version (“Tropical Vibe”, 100 ml, Rayhaan brand) and check seller’s authenticity (fragrances prone to imitation).

Because humidity/heat in shipping can affect fragrance quality, buy from reputable local retailer if possible.

Storage & maintenance:

Store bottle upright, in a cool place away from direct sunlight/heat (especially in Lagos where ambient temperature can be high).

Keep cap closed when not in use to maintain scent integrity.

Because the opening is fruity and volatile, avoid storing in very warm spots (car dashboard) to preserve fragrance oils.

Potential issues / things to watch:

Some users felt the opening was “synthetic” or “shampoo‑like” if over‑applied.

Tropical scents can be overwhelming in humid confined spaces if applied heavily — consider lighter application in such contexts.

People sensitive to sweet/gourmand or coconut‑heavy scents might find the heart too creamy — test if possible.

Longevity may vary with skin type/climate: on skin with frequent sweating or in hot sun, top notes may fade faster; clothes may hold scent longer.

What to expect vs reality:

Expect a bright, tropical fruit opening, a smooth creamy‑coconut/white‑floral heart, and a warm woody base that lingers.

Longevity: Probably 5‑8 hours on skin, possibly more on clothes — user reports mention around 7 hours on clothing.

If you care about subtle scents for professional settings, you may want to apply moderately; if you want a standout “signature” tropical scent, this could suit well.
