Storm Elixir Magic (200ml)

Storm Elixir Magic (200ml) 1. Description

The product listing on a Nigerian-retailer site names it as “Storm ELIXIR MAGIC Perfumed Deodorant Body Spray 200 ML”.

The description states:

“It’s a floral, woody fragrance infused in the exotic gourmand scents making everyone who wears it stand out with its aroma still trailing after he/she had long left the scene.”

Thus, it’s positioned as a body spray with somewhat premium (or at least elevated) fragrance character — more than a simple deodorant, aimed at making an impression rather than just daily fresh scent.

2. Format

Size: 200 ml (approx) in this variant. For example, listings show “200ML” size.

Type: Perfumed deodorant / body spray. You spray onto the body/clothing, no rinse.

Packaging: A 200 ml aerosol can or spray canister (typical of body-sprays in this segment).

Usage: Intended for everyday wear, likely morning or evening; given the “floral/woody/gourmand” description, perhaps more evening or when wanting to make a statement.

3. Sensory Profile

Top / Middle / Base Notes (inferred/partial)

The listing does not provide a full detailed breakdown of top/heart/base for the “Magic” variant, but the descriptive words “floral, woody … exotic gourmand” give some clues.

From similar “Elixir” line variants (e.g., Aura, Mystique) we can draw patterns:

e.g., for Aura (200 ml) top notes: nutty, orange, coconut, watermelon; heart: jasmine, lily of the valley, orchid; base: musk, vanilla, heliotrope, wood.

For Mystique: top: bergamot, pineapple, apple; heart: birch, patchouli, floral; base: musk, vanilla, amber.

So for “Magic” we can infer: juicy/floral top, woody/vanilla/musk base, gourmand undertone.

Character: likely a sweet-floral opening oriented toward impression, then woody/vanilla/musk base giving depth and lingering trail.

Performance expectations: Given it is a body spray rather than high-end EDP, the staying power and projection will be moderate — enough to linger but maybe not heavy-duty like niche. One listing emphasises “trail” (i.e., lasts beyond physical presence).

Limitations / Considerations

On very hot/humid skin (such as Lagos climate), sweet/woody fragrances may behave strongly (base may dominate).

Because body sprays often have lower fragrance concentration, the initial top notes may fade faster; you may detect more of the base on skin after a few hours.

If you prefer ultra-light fresh/clean scents, this one may feel richer/stronger than that.

4. Wears & Suggestions (How/When to Use)

When & Who

Great for evening wear, nights out, or times when you want to leave a memorable scent impression. Also works for daytime if you prefer something richer.

Suited for both men and women (unisex lean) depending on personal taste — though the “gourmand/woody” finish may lean a little more towards evening or dress-up.

Ideal in scenarios where you’ll be noticed or want to feel “signature” rather than just fresh.

How to use

After showering and drying skin, apply to torso, chest, back, and optionally lightly on clothing for longer retention.

For warm/humid climate: spray on clothes (shirt/back) as well as skin to avoid quick evaporation due to sweat.

If going out in evening: perhaps one or two extra sprays (but not overdo, since richer scent).

Pair with neutral grooming products (unscented or lightly scented) so the fragrance stands out rather than competes.

Styling & Pairing Tips

If you wear a formal outfit (dress, blazer) the woody/vanilla base complements well.

For casual day: one light spray behind shirt/back may suffice; if you feel it may fade, carry small decant for re-application.

In humid outdoors: consider layering with an unscented body lotion to help scent last longer, since body sprays often fade faster in heat.

5. Helpful Tips

Buying & Price Info

Nigerian listings show price around ₦4,999 for this variant 200 ml.

Another listing shows “Storm Elixir Body Spray 200 ml” priced ₦3,500 in one store.

When buying: check that the label says “ELIXIR MAGIC 200ML” and not a smaller size or different variant. Check for seal, condition of can.

Because fragrance market can have counterfeits, buy from reputable store/seller.

Storage & Maintenance

Store upright, in cool dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat (especially important in Lagos/Ifako).

Ensure cap is closed after use to avoid evaporation of fragrance.

Avoid storing in extremely warm places (car boot, window sill) as heat can degrade aerosol and scent.

Usage & Maintenance Tips

Because body spray may fade faster than perfume, consider reapplication or layering with unscented body lotion.

If fragrance seems “heavy” after some hours (woody/vanilla base dominating), you can freshen with light mist of neutral spray or wash and reapply lightly.

If you find it strong for day wear: reduce number of sprays or restrict to clothing rather than skin.

What to watch out for / Potential Drawbacks

If you prefer very subtle, ultra-light scents for day or work where fragrance must be minimal, this may be too rich.

In hot and humid environment, the gourmand/woody base might intensify; you may need lighter amount or choose alternate lighter fragrance for midday.

If you are sensitive to vanilla/musk/woody bases or have close/contact work where strong scent is discouraged, apply more conservatively.
