Storm Elixir Fusion (200ml)

Storm Elixir Fusion (200ml) 1. Description

Storm Elixir Fusion is a variant in Storm’s “Elixir” line of perfumed deodorant body sprays. A Nigerian online retailer describes it as:

“A whispering fruity‑floral fragrance body spray … Soft, feminine and delightful. Keeps you smelling clean and fresh and feeling confident throughout the day.”

It comes in a 200 ml spray can size in the Nigerian market.

The listing indicates top, heart and base note breakdown:

Top notes: Orange, Peach, Mandarin

Heart notes: Jasmine, Apple, Lactonic (i.e., creamy), Magnolia

Base notes: Silkwood*, Musk, Amber

*“Silkwood” likely refers to a soft woody/white‑wood accord.

So the product is positioned as a value‑fragrance body spray for women (or feminine leaning) that offers fruity‑floral top, a creamy fresh heart, and a warm woody/musk base.

2. Format

Size: 200 ml (some listings show exactly “200 ml can spray”).

Form: Aerosol/press‑spray body spray (perfumed deodorant type), intended for application to the body (and optionally light on clothes) — not a heavy EDP/perfume bottle.

Usage: Apply after showering or when you want a fresh fragrance. Because a body spray, you’ll likely reapply (or spray more generously) compared to a strong perfume.

Packaging/Local Market: Available via Nigerian online retailers in Lagos/Ibadan shipping. Example price listed ~ ₦3,900 for 200 ml.

3. Sensory Profile

Opening (Top):

Bright and juicy fruit: orange, mandarin, and peach give a lively opening. (Orange + Peach + Mandarin)

Middle (Heart):

A fresh‑creamy heart: jasmine (floral), apple (crisp), magnolia (soft floral) and lactonic note (creamy milk‑like accord) bring a soft sweet‑fresh character.

Dry‑down/Base:

The base settles into silkwood (soft wood), musk and amber — giving warmth, subtle woods and a gentle trail.

Overall Character:

The fragrance evolves from bright fruit → creamy floral → warm subtly woody/musk base.

The “soft, feminine and delightful” descriptor suggests it’s designed for everyday wear with a comfortable scent‑profile rather than heavy or aggressive.

Because it’s a body spray (not EDP), expect moderate longevity and projection: good for daily use, but in heat/humidity you may see fade faster.

Considerations:

In warm climates (like Lagos), the fruity/juicy opening may fade quicker, leaving more of the base (musk/amber) on skin after a few hours.

If you prefer ultra‑fresh/light aquatic scents, the warm base here might feel richer than you expect — for midday hot outdoor use you may prefer something lighter.

4. When & How to Wear / Suggestions

When to wear:

Ideal for day‑to‑day wearable fragrance: office, casual outings, meet‑ups, school run, errands.

Also works for evening if you want a soft but noticeable scent. Because of the warm base, the dry‑down is more suited for slightly dressier or indoor settings.

Good for moderate climates or air‑conditioned spaces; in extremely hot outdoor sun you might notice quicker fade.

Who it suits:

Women (or people who like feminine‑leaning fruity‑floral scents) looking for a value body spray with a more refined profile.

Those who want a fresh yet warm fragrance, not ultra‑heavy/perfume‑strong.

Suitable for users who spray more generously (due to body spray nature) and don’t mind re‑spraying if needed.

How to apply / styling tips:

After shower and drying skin, hold the can ~15 cm from body and spray once or twice on torso (chest/back). Optionally one spray on back of shirt for better longevity.

Because the opening is bright fruit, if you’re going outdoors in heat: spray clothes rather than bare skin to preserve freshness and reduce evaporation by heat.

For evening or indoor events: a little more spray is okay, but avoid overspray in enclosed spaces.

Pair with plain grooming (unscented body lotion) so the fragrance does not clash.

If you want longer performance: apply unscented body lotion first, then the spray — the lotion anchors the scent.

5. Helpful Tips

Buying & Price:

Price in Nigeria: ~ ₦3,900 for 200 ml in one listing.

Another listing shows a combo pack including Fusion as variant: ~ ₦23,500 for 6pcs of 200ml sized variants (Fusion/Maverick/Noir).

When purchasing, verify: size “200 ml”, variant “Fusion”, check cap, packaging, batch code, and buy from reliable store to avoid counterfeit.

Storage & Preservation:

Store upright in cool dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme heat (important in Lagos climate). Heat and sun may degrade the aerosol and fragrance.

Ensure cap on when not in use to avoid accidental spray or loss of aroma.

If can is dented or leaking, discard – safety hazard.

Usage & Maintenance Tips:

Because body sprays have lower fragrance oil concentration, they tend to fade faster than dedicated perfumes — expect maybe 4–6 h (maybe less in heat) rather than 10+ h.

To extend wear: apply to clothes/fabric, also apply body lotion first, avoid heavy heat/sweat right after application.

For very humid days or active sweating: have a light travel‑size with you for midday refresh.

Patch test if you have sensitive skin or allergies to fragrance components.

Potential Drawbacks / Considerations:

If you’re looking for ultra‑long lasting or very strong projection (10+ hours, heavy evening scent), this may under‑perform compared to premium perfumes.

Because of the warm base (amber, musk), in extremely hot outdoor sun the scent may feel heavier — you may prefer something lighter on such days.

If you work in very fragrance‑sensitive environment (office, clinic), maybe apply lightly so it does not become overpowering in close‑quarters.
