Kiss Beauty Make Up Rose Primer (40ml)

Kiss Beauty Make Up Rose Primer (40ml) Description

This product is described as a lightweight makeup primer that incorporates rose extract to help prepare the skin for makeup, smooth the complexion, and improve longevity of foundation. For example, one listing states:

“El Rose Primer de Kiss Beauty es una prebase de maquillaje ligera que prepara la piel para una aplicación uniforme y duradera del maquillaje. Su fórmula con extracto de rosa hidrata, suaviza y ayuda a minimizar la apariencia de poros e imperfecciones, dejando un acabado aterciopelado.”

In short: it aims to act as the base for makeup, improving how makeup sits and lasts.
Format

Volume: 40 ml bottle (or tube) — this is consistent with other Kiss Beauty primers listed at 40 ml.

Packaging: Likely a pump or squeeze tube (the listing for the Rose Primer doesn’t explicitly show packaging details in the translation, but typical primers in this range use a pump or tube dispenser).

Texture: Described as “light” and “rapid absorption” for the Rose variant.

Target use: To be applied before foundation/facial makeup, after skincare.

Sensory Profile

Feel & texture: Because of the “lightweight” description, you can expect a smooth, non-heavy feel on the skin. It likely absorbs quickly.

Skin finish: The Rose Primer aims to give a soft (“velvet”) skin look, by smoothing and minimizing pores/imperfections.

Scent: Not explicitly noted in the listing, but given the “rose extract” mention, there may be a subtle floral/rose scent or at least a fragrance component.

Effect on skin: Helps reduce the appearance of pores and imperfections (as per listing), providing a more even base for makeup.

Considerations: If your skin is very oily, you’ll want to check how matte the finish is (the listing emphasises “velvet” rather than fully matte), and if your skin is dry, you may still need a hydrating skincare product underneath.

Wear & Suggestion

How and when to use:

After cleansing and your usual skincare (moisturiser/serum) allow those to absorb. Then apply a small amount of the Rose Primer to your face—main areas where foundation will go (cheeks, forehead, nose, chin).

Wait a minute or two for the primer to settle before applying foundation.

Because it smooths and pre-perfects, it’s ideally used in everyday makeup routines, special occasions, or when you want foundation to last longer and look better.

Suited for all skin types (though always test first) as the listing suggests “fórmula ligera … para una aplicación uniforme” (a light formula for even application) and mentions “hidrata” among the benefits.

For humid climates (e.g., Lagos, Nigeria), you might benefit from pairing it with an oil-control or mattifying skincare step if your skin leans oily; that helps prolong wear.

Helpful Tips

Less is more: Use a small amount (pea-sized) spread across key areas rather than a thick layer. That helps avoid makeup sliding off.

Target zones: Focus on areas where makeup tends to crease or fade quickly (such as near the nose, smile lines) and pores are more visible.

Allow settling: After applying the primer, wait ~30-60 seconds before applying foundation so it forms a proper base.

Use appropriate skincare underneath: If your skin is dry, apply a light moisturiser first; if oily, consider a mattifier before the primer. This will optimise how the primer performs.

Watch shade/finish: Though it’s “Rose Primer”, this refers to the formula, not a colour-correcting shade necessarily. If you require colour-correction (e.g., green tint for redness), ensure the listing variant.

Store properly: Keep the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight/heat to maintain formula integrity.

Patch test: Especially if you have sensitive skin, since the formula mentions extract of rose and possible fragrance; test behind your ear or jawline for 24 hours.
