Anua 70+ Glow Milky Toner (Rice70 + Ceramide) 250ML
₦28,000.00
What it is & what it does
This toner uses ~70% rice water / rice-bran water as its base, along with ceramides, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, and rice proteins/extracts.
The idea: the rice water + niacinamide help brighten dull or uneven skin tone, even out complexion, and give a glow / “glass-skin” finish.
The ceramides, plus humectants like hyaluronic acid and glycerin, help strengthen and maintain the skin barrier and deeply hydrate the skin — useful for dryness, sensitivity or barrier-impaired skin.
Because it’s a “milky toner” (i.e. a more emollient / moisturizing toner rather than astringent), it prepares the skin well for follow-up serums or moisturizers and helps with absorption while leaving skin soft, smooth and dewy.
How to use it
After cleansing your face, apply the toner either with your fingers or a cotton pad, then gently pat it across your face until absorbed.
It’s typically suitable for daily use — morning and night.
Because it’s hydrating and barrier-supportive, you can follow with serums or moisturizer after it — it works as a nice “first step” post-cleanse for layering
Who it’s good for
People with dull or uneven skin tone — the rice water + niacinamide combo aims to brighten and even out skin.
People with dry, dehydrated, or sensitive skin — the ceramides + humectants help lock in moisture and strengthen the skin barrier.
Folks who want a soft, dewy, glowing complexion (“glass skin”) without heavy creams — it gives hydration without a greasy or sticky finish.
Those using multiple skincare steps / serums: because it’s gentle and moisturizing, this toner plays nicely as a layering base.
What to watch out for / Potential drawbacks
As with many skincare products, results depend on consistency. The brightening / glow effect may take a few weeks of regular use to build up.
Some people — especially with very reactive or acne-prone skin — might react to certain actives (e.g. niacinamide, or multiple hydrating/active ingredients) even if the formula is marketed as gentle. Indeed, there are anecdotal reports of discomfort or breakouts after using it. > “it stings … seems to dry out my face … the toner destroyed my skin barrier … made any other product I put on burn as well.”
If your skin tends to produce oil or you are acne-prone, layering this with heavy creams or occlusive products might clog pores — milky toners still add moisture
