Hues Queen Chocolate Frosting Tinted Lip Serum

Hues Queen Glaze Tinted Lip Serum The Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum is a hybrid lip-product combining lip-care (serum) benefits + sheer colour + high shine. It’s formulated by Laneige as a lip-serum with buildable tint, gloss/glaze effect, and skincare-type ingredients.
Key points:

Infused with “95% skincare ingredients” (for example polypeptides, ceramides, squalane) to nourish lips.

Provides buildable colour (sheer to more intense) + high-shine finish.

Comes in donut-inspired shades (fun names) such as “Cinnamon Sugar”, “Sugar Glaze”, etc.

So in short: it’s a tinted lip serum which acts as both treatment and colour/gloss.

📦 Format

Size: around 12 g for many markets.

Packaging: A tube with an applicator described as “mini-donut applicator” (soft cushiony tip) that gently hugs your lips to apply.

Shade range: At least 6 to 8 shades, with playful names like “Sugar Glaze”, “Peach Glaze”, “Cinnamon Sugar”, “Raspberry Jam”.

Finish: High-shine/glazed. Lightweight non-sticky feel is emphasized.

🎨 Sensory Profile

Appearance/Colour:

Sheer wash of colour that can be built up. For example “Cinnamon Sugar” is described as a “toned-down mauve pink” in Laneige’s description.

The glazed finish means it has shine, not matte. So lips will look glossy, luminous.

Because it’s sheer, the final colour will depend on your natural lip tone and how many layers you apply.

Texture/Feel:

Feels like a serum/gloss hybrid: smooth, balm-glossy, with treatment-like comfort.

Not heavy or sticky (brands emphasise non-sticky feel).

The applicator is soft and cushy, giving a bit of bounce in use. (From user reviews)

Sensory Experience / Scent:

Some shades might carry a subtle scent or flavour cue (the donut theme suggests fun, perhaps sweet scents) but check if you’re sensitive.

The overall feel is hydrating and comfortable.

Finish & Wear-Feel:

High shine/glossy finish.

Because it’s face-care oriented for lips, it also claims to visibly plump lips via polypeptides.

Not intended as long-wear matte lipstick; more like gloss/tinted balm with care benefits.

👗 Wears & Suggestions

When & how to wear:

Perfect for everyday wear: when you want something that gives colour + shine but also cares for your lips.

Great for daytime, casual outings, brunch, work, etc. Also works layered for evening if you build colour.

Because of the shiny finish, this is a “lipgloss + care” look rather than matte drama.

Styling suggestions:

Use alone: apply one or two coats for a sheer, glossy “my-lips-but-better” look.

Layering: Use over a nude lipstick or lip-liner to add shine and comfort. For example, do your regular matte lip, then top with this serum for gloss + hydration.

For deeper colour: apply more coats (brand says buildable).

Pair with neutral eye-makeup or warm tones: since the shade “Cinnamon Sugar” is mauve pink, this will flatter many skin tones; accented with warm bronzy eyes or peach blush will tie in nicely.

Best outfits / occasions:

Warm-toned wardrobes: caramel, rust, olive, chocolate, tan – will complement the warm glaze shine.

Date nights: use a slightly deeper shade in the range, or build this up for glossy lips.

Travel / daily errands: since it provides lip-care benefits, it’s good for everyday wear especially if you have drier lips.

🛠 Helpful Tips

Before applying:

Exfoliate lips if you have dry or flaky lips. The gloss finish will highlight texture.

Use a lip balm underneath on very dry days for best results.

Application Tips:

One swipe gives a light glow; more layers = deeper tint. So you can control intensity.

Use the donut applicator to follow the lip contour; you can dab in the centre for extra shine.

If you want a more defined look, use a lip-liner that complements the shade before applying.

Maintenance & Removal:

Because it’s glossy, it may transfer. Reapply after meals if you want colour maintenance.

At night remove thoroughly to avoid product build-up, especially if you wore heavier layers.

Storage & Care:

Keep the cap tightly closed to avoid drying or leakage. Some sites caution that the applicator tip may peel if handled roughly.

Store in a cool dry place, especially in warm climates like Lagos, Nigeria; heat may affect product consistency.

Shade Selection:

You’ll want to see a swatch if possible – swatches on your lips or hand can help judge how much the colour shows on your lip tone.

Because it’s sheer, the end look will vary by natural lip colour; if your lips are very pigmented, you might see less of the “true” shade.

If you prefer bold colour, layer more; if you prefer subtle, one coat is likely fine.

Good for lip care days:

If your lips feel dry, this works as a comfortable hydrating gloss; the skincare ingredients like ceramides and polypeptides help.

Use it as a topper when your lips need both treatment + shine.

Potential caution:

As with any lip product, if you have sensitivities (to fragrance, or specific ingredients) check the full ingredient list.

Because of the high-shine/gloss finish, it might not suit very formal events where a matte, no-transfer lip is needed.
