Yara Lataffa Perfume (30ml)

Yara Lataffa (30ml) 1. Description

Yara is a women‑targeted fragrance from the Middle Eastern brand Lattafa, launched around 2020.

It is described as an “oriental vanilla” scent with a blend of floral, fruity and creamy gourmand elements: for instance top notes of orchid, heliotrope and tangerine; middle notes of gourmand accord & tropical fruits; base notes of vanilla, musk and sandalwood.

It aims for a youthful, sweet, somewhat indulgent feel rather than a purely classic or austere perfume.

2. Format

The size you mentioned is 30 ml (small bottle) — good for travel or sampling.

It is typically an Eau de Parfum (EDP) concentration.

The bottle/packaging is modest in size; cheaper than large flagship bottles, which means it can be a lower‑risk option if you’re trying the scent for the first time.

Because of the size and price point, it’s good for everyday wear or for seeing if the scent works for you.

3. Sensory Profile

Visual & Packaging:
The bottle has a clean design; the colour and print may vary slightly by region, so check authenticity. Some users report variations.

Olfactory (Smell):

Top: Orchid flower, heliotrope (which gives a powdery floral‑sweet vibe) and tangerine — introducing a citrusy/bright opening.

Middle: Gourmand accord + tropical fruits — so you’ll get fruity‑sweet, maybe exotic fruit impressions.

Base: Vanilla, musk, sandalwood — giving warmth, creaminess, a gentle woodiness and lasting base.

Overall character: Many describe it as sweet, creamy, fruity, somewhat like a dessert fragrance or “strawberry/vanilla milkshake” vibe.

Texture / Projection / Longevity:

It’s moderate: some users say it doesn’t project extremely far but lingers on clothes.

A mix of opinions:

“Mine last about 5‑6 hours on skin, and I can still smell it on clothes the next day.”

“Mine is so strong and off‑putting … lasts for 1 hour max.”

So expect variation depending on skin, environment, authenticity, etc.

4. Wears & Suggestion

When to wear:

Daytime or early evening works well, especially casual to semi‑casual. Some users suggest cooler weather or air‑conditioned environments suit it best (so the sweeter notes don’t become overwhelming).

Could also work for a date or outing when you want a sweet, inviting scent rather than something ultra‑serious.

Who it suits:

Ideal for someone who likes gourmand, sweet, vanilla‑heavy perfumes rather than purely fresh or minimalist scents.

Possibly younger audience or those wanting something playful and sweet.

If you prefer outdoorsy‑fresh, ultra‑clean or ultra‑spicy scents, this may not be your top pick.

Pairing / layering suggestions:

Because of its sweetness, it could pair nicely with a light fresh scent underneath to balance richness.

On cooler evenings with a light jacket or sweater, the sweet/vanilla base can feel cozy.

For African climate (like in Lagos) maybe: wear lightly (one to two sprays) in the evening, or apply it to clothes rather than heavily on skin.

5. Helpful Tips

Authenticity & buying:

Be cautious: there are reports of counterfeits for this perfume. Users report issues like packaging differences, weaker scent, odd bottle parts.

Tips: check batch code, holographic sticker (if applicable), alignment of logo.

You may want to buy from a trusted seller especially if ordering online in Nigeria or shipping internationally.

Application & wear:

Since the scent is sweet and potentially strong in warm climates, use moderately: one spray on skin + one on clothing or scarf may suffice.

Apply to pulse points (wrists, neck) but avoid rubbing wrists together (can change how scent develops).

If skin is dry, a bit of unscented lotion beforehand can help the scent last longer.

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. Heat & sun can degrade perfume faster.

Close the cap properly to avoid evaporation and fragrance change.

Longevity boosting:

Use on clothes or scarves (which often hold scent longer than bare skin).

After spraying, allow a minute before dressing so the top alcohol note settles.

If you find it fades too quickly, consider applying just after a shower and while skin is slightly damp (pat dry, then spray) to help adherence.

When to avoid or adapt:

If you’re in a very hot/humid environment (like midday in Lagos), go lighter on the spray; the sweet notes may intensify in heat and become too much.

For very formal or business conservative settings, consider a lighter fragrance; Yara might lean more playful than ultra‑formal.
